Jan-26-02, 02:08 AM (EST) "Can I change the loco in the activity?" Hello,guys!As the travel is long,in the real world ,train can't always use one loco,when arriving some stations ,another loco will pick up the train instead of the original loco,Can I make this in the TS

The long answer is that if you use some creativity and imagination, you can SIMULATE this. You need two separate activities. The first one, for example, might be pulling a long freight train to a terminal yard, where you uncouple your locos and park them in an appropriate siding, leaving your train on the "inbound" track of the terminal/yard. The second activity might start with a switch engine on a siding which has to switch the cars left by your mainline train in to their appropriate sidings to form other trains.Now the imagination comes in...You've just pulled your mainline train in to the yard after being on the road all day. What a day!! Nothing went right. Amtrak had a meltdown and held you up for 3 hours, had to set a hotbox out from the middle of the train,(you get the idea). Time for a cup of coffee and some food. You park your locos, and head for a local grease pit, then it's off to bed. (Translation...Activity Complete...return to main menu screen.Load activity #2. You've just been called by the dipatcher to switch the mainline freight that came in overnight. You head for work, and have a great day moving trains around the yard!!(Activity Complete)You can go one step further and create activities for the trains you assemble in activity two, if you really want to.Have fun!!
