Jan-12-02, 06:51 AM (EST) "Please help with Columbia Falls Local #1" Ok, please help with some basics here...I'm new at this. First off, I love this activity because it's...well...active! Especially the traffic, I love that. Makes it seem like an actual railroad.However, here's my problems. When I get to CF, I get the message that says you can't use the west wye switch, use the east. For one thing, I found I still CAN use the west wye switch. Am I just supposed NOT to? Also, give me a hint here...am I supposed to clear the double mainline completely? I got that impression from how urgent it sounded, and the very busy mainline traffic. I did manage to get all the way off the mainline, but then I noticed a train waiting down at the CF yard. "RE: Please help with Columbia Falls Local #1" Regarding the message about the switch...I think that's a holdover from the original version of this activity that was created on the default Marias Pass. The mainline swithces to the wye were (I think) dispatcher controlled so you coulnd't throw 'em yourself. I'm guessing the oringal creator just threw that in to put a little twist on things. In regards to the stopped AI train on the main I noticed that too. Thought it was kinda odd that he got held down there even though I was in the clear.
