"RE: Fun Train Activities" I was only able to achieve this by removing the signals from the route via the Route Editor, or by downloading a route that doesn't have any signals. If you just want to drive alongside a train, you can set up an activity on a route that has a good long section of double track;put the robo-train on one track and your train on the other. Jan-06-02, 07:20 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Fun Train Activities" Another cool activity is pt 1 of the new Columbia Falls local. (I can't get PT2 to work because for some reason I have an issue with the F9 command and finding the engine when alot of cars are coupled to the front coupler). The cool thing about this activity is you start out in Whitefish Yard. I was quite surprised that the first train I missed I almost crashed right into, but managed to hit the brakes at the last second as an incoming train came into Whitefish. The train had a massive number of cars too (I wasn't too worried about my FPS). After the train enters the yard (Your train is a fair size for a local) you barely can get up to 30 when along comes another big train passing you on the right track at about 40.The switching is fun to do in Columbia Falls, and took me about an hour and a half to complete.Kudos to the author! This is a fun one to try.Sean Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-05-02, 08:28 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Fun Train Activities" There is an activity on here, I believe, for the NEC which has been set up so you crash into a static consist. This was with signals in the route as well. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-06-02, 02:11 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Fun Train Activities" There is an activity called "Disaster Strikes" for NEC. It can be found at train-sim.com file library (disast.zip). You start from Wilmington and after 6 - 7 minutes of driving you are nicely cruising at 110 mph when suddenly you see an oncoming freight train at very same track...
