Jan-01-02, 05:43 AM (EST) "DOUBLEHEADING TRACTIVE EFFORT" Hi to all,
Is anybody able to explain me why in a doubleheading of steam loco the second one is running at idle, probably not helping the leading unit?
And what about the electric and diesel loco in the same situation?
Tks
Ciao

Try running up a grade without your second loco, then do it again with the helper coupled in. You'll see that the helper does make a difference. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
