If we are talking of the interactive coal tower I think it only works if you have a tender (.wag) with "intake point" near the bottom of the file..look in the flying scotsman "scotstender.wag" for example....but maybe if you put that in goods wagons it would work...I'm sure there will be many responses more informative than mine!!! Dec-18-01, 06:09 PM (EST) 2. "RE: could someone please help me?" Here is an example of getting a coal tower working for the Settle and Carlisle Line. You can operate water and coal towers in Explore route, but your tender will be filled already. So, make a new activity for the Settle and Carlisle Line and fill in the mandatory fields. Make a new player service, and give it just a Flying Scotsman without wagons (but WITH a tender) as a consist. Now you have to make a player path. On top of the map you will see Carlisle. Turn siding names on (in the view menu) and zoom in on Carlisle until you can see Carlisle siding 2. Beneath this siding you will see a curved track. Left of it you will see another curved track. Zoom in on this one and place a starting point at longitude -2.91170. Around this location you will find a water tower and a coal tower. Note that if you check fuel points in the view menu you won´t see these two towers! If necessary toggle start direction to lead the path up in north west direction and save the path. Now, you must not forget to lower the coal and water levels for the player service. Set both at about 10%, not zero! Save your activity and start it in Train simulator. Before driving away, first take a look at the tender. On top at the back you will find the wateropening. Now take a look outside the train, it´s positioned next to a water tower. First we will get some water. Move your train up a little bit and stop with the wateropening aligned with the water tower post. For further instructions press F1, click Index and type fuel. Don´t forget to switch on the HUD (F5).Then move up to the coal tower and stop with the tender right under the opening. For instructions how to load coal, press F1, etc. Before loading choose camview 3 and position the camera so you can see the inside of the tender. While loading you will see the coal level rise!Hope this will help.Have fun! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
