Dec-13-01, 00:05 AM (EST) "Packing Activities - default consists" I took a night off from route building to play with my route a little. I decided to make an activity to upload to the file section here at train-sim. I packaged up the activity, and just before uploading it, I decided to test it just to be safe. I removed the files for the activity, the paths, and the services prior to the test, but I left the consists since they were default (supplied with the game) consists. When I double clicked on the .apk file, it started doing it's thing, and started asking if I wanted to overwrite existing files for the default consists. I guess this isn't a big deal since 1) you can say no, and 2) it shouldn't make a difference anyway. Still, it's kind of annoying, and I was wondering if there's a way to package up an activity so that it doesn't include these default consists that everyone already has.I've only download a couple activities with non-standard consists, so I not sure if this is a normal occurance that everyone puts up with or not.Any thoughts?Steve

"RE: Packing Activities - default consists" Sure , You could, before you package the activity, change the consists to custom ones by using the "use as template" button. when you click it the consist editor will open up and you can make changes if you wish, or leave it the same but save it with a different name (preferable one that coincides with names of any and all files related to your activity(just in case the user wants to delete the activity) suggestion you might rename "Long Grain train" some thing like "NewAct1.Long Grain train".Longhairedwizard Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
