Nov-08-01, 05:18 PM (EST) "Connecting to rear end of coaches Please help !!" Please help me, I can't find any solution to my problem, here is what i want to do: pick up 10 coaches go to x station perform a run round with my loco (via a wrye) & pick up the coaches & go , simple I thought (but 5 days later no.) note my loco is connecting with its rear end each time, here is the problem I can't couple to a consists rear end could someone help with this if poss. (I've adapted my wag/eng files as per "how to run trains in reverse" by Trenes (thanks for that) but still no luck !
I've also set up activities with sidings full of other coaches & tried again with no luck , I've read & examined the wag/eng files & help. Any help would be grate, & as always I thank you for taking time to help others. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Connecting to rear end of coaches Please help !!" just tried again, I got my loco to connect to the rear of my carrages but have to couple at atleast 7-10 mph when I heard it couple I quickly came off the throttle & hit the brakes but ended up going backwards at 30 mph seconds later with emergancy brakes applied. what i don't understand is why or what part of the file(s) is telling the program that the rear end of a coach acts diffently to the front, For me performing run rounds is a fundermental part of msts & should be simple I'd think, so if you can help please do, thanks.
