Jun-13-01, 09:03 PM (EST) "Hakone line "red light" bug in Summer Holiday activity" I have repeatedly experienced an annoying problem with the "Summer Holiday" activity on the Hakone route. Every time I have attempted to complete this activity, it has automatically ended due to "passing a red light", where no red light exists. This event always happens after I have stopped at a station, and press ENTER to load passengers. Instead of the load counter starting to count down, the "activity ended" message box appears. This has happened at a different station every time, and there does not seem to be a way to predict at which station this event will occur, which makes saving after every station the only way to complete this activity. But, having to save so often is a major pain in the neck, and seriously impacts playability. Any suggestions? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Hakone line "red light" bug in Summer Holiday activity" may i ask where you are stopping? i would suggest stopping at exactly zero, or overshooting the station slightly, so that the back of your train is past the previous signal. That seemed to be my problem on this line, as soon as i tried to start, it thought i was running the red signal at the back of the train.Hope this helps.Adamsloco Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It would appear that you have to a LOOOOONG way past the signal/switch to get the signal to change state. I have not spent the time to figure out how far, but on the second leg of the switch back it is a good way down the spur. Hope this helps. Triffid.
