PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASENEC FREIGHT LINES NOW IN BUSINESSSeptember 27, 2001 Baltimore, Md. NEC Freight Lines is proud to announce the start of shorthaul freight operations for service to the NorthEast Corridor commencing immediately.

The new company has made the initial purchase of three(3) GP38-2 Diesel Locomotives, and is making them available to MSTS users for the enhancement of NEC Freight Lines freight activities. These locomotives, in distinctive colors, can be downloaded at the company homepage and at various MSTS-based webpages, including this one.

NEC Freight Lines has enlisted the services of the NEC TrackTeam, activity designers, to develop the company's freight-based activities, and the first three connected activities are available for download in two forms and two types. The team has developed both a default-equipment series and a "custom-equipment" series using the NEC Freight Lines locomotives and in two levels of difficulty. You can choose which you'd like to try at the start of each activity. A printable work order is included for your convience. The company would urge you to take advantage of the custom equipment series to enjoy the activities fully. The locomotives, (NECX-100,101, and 102) utilize the alias-file technology for sharing cabview and sound folders with default MSTS equipment.

Been to the site and signed up for work..
(grabbed the trains and activity's )
As i was about to memorise my work order, ( unzip it to tsunpack )
I realized that the unzipped folders 1stHActC and 1stHActD have exactly the same information in them, Therefore I was wondering is there something in these activity's that make them all different and Im missing it..... Or are they actually the same ?

the activity sets are the same. the one that uses the term "custom", as in 1stHActC.zip needs the three necx locos.
the one that uses the term "default" or 1stHActD.zip doesnt require any addon equipment, just the out of box msts stuff.
I did the two separate activities so people would have the choice.
