Sep-18-01, 06:21 PM (EST) "Consist Validation Tools" Is there any tools (apart from MSTSBuddy or Activity Analysis) that allow the validation of consists, or how are consists setup (hence, I could write one myself and distribute it free if I knew the general setup of consists). Open Source would be great, as I don't really want to have to pay for Software if possible..... Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Sep-18-01, 09:26 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Consist Validation Tools" Ernst's Activity Analysis program is excellent and well worth the $10.00 registration fee, I believe. I use it on every new route and activity. It has saved me many hours of troubleshooting and fixing. Ernst always quickly answers my e-mails with questions and suggestions for modifications. He has made several revisions immediately to fix any problems and to add new functions as they were suggested. It's the best $10.00 I have spent.Best regards, Bob. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Consist Validation Tools" I agree.I check all Activities with Activity-Analysis prior to opening MSTS.I check all new installs of eng/wags with MSTS Buddy prior to opening MSTS.Both are great programs and worth every penny.bob Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
