Aug-27-01, 04:31 PM (EST) "Turning up sound makes me crash" I wrote an activity in Kalispell. 8 cars at a siding to the woodchip spur. Played 40 times trying to get the reversing paths done. I hooked up to the cars 40 times no problem. Finally all done testing, I turn the sound frequency up to medium, so I can play for "real". As soon as the couplers connect and make that sound I get the "broken coupler" message. I am going less than 1 MPH. If I turn the sound back to low, everything is fine?? What gives here??Bob Artim

Aug-28-01, 01:25 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Turning up sound makes me crash" No its a sw1200, and now I have made it derail with the sound down low also. I guess I was really good at coupling the first 40 times, then it got worse, I dunno, it seems that definitely derails when sound is at medium as soon as the coupling sound is made. But with low sound,it just takes, (I have found out since) good breaking at the right moment, if the cars get pushed a tad too much they derail. Some of the graphics have really been funny.I am going less than 1 mph, I bump the 8 car consist, the 4th car back stands up on end!!!Another time the 5th car back rolled on it's side.Dude, you couldn't knock me over going that slow, let alone a huge freight car. Or is the MASS thing not what I am understanding?Bob
