Aug-22-01, 07:38 AM (EST) "Bridge Placement - Multiple Objects" Is there a quick and relatively painless way to install multiple sections of bridge or trestle objects such as USA trestle 1, 2, 3 etc. It is a nightmare trying to line up 3 or 4 sections of these to place them under the track. Any tips you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I have tried the control, shift select multiple objects approach but it doesn't seem to be very effective.

A post by Willhern (sp?) has a pretty neat way of doing this.Vince Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-23-01, 07:34 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Bridge Placement - Multiple Objects" I posted there too....just covering all the bases for a quick solution. Since there are already over 1000 threads over there (and here) what difference does one more make. I did read Wilhelm's post but it still seems like a one line program to accomplish the same thing that happens when we merge track sections and road sections. Any thoughts on the programming angle?
