Aug-01-01, 08:26 PM (EST) "Holiday 142 NEC Activity." Derek,
Could you be more specific on the locomotives that have to be added and the location where such downloads are found. There is a switcher 9578 but where is 9576? Also is the default GP 38 the locomotive? All this information should be included in the text file. Thanks!AlexThank you Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-02-01, 02:14 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Holiday 142 NEC Activity." All the downloads are here at train-sim.com. The switcher is the one you specified, and the GP-38 was installed in a folder with the wrong name. Instead of cr_gp38, it was installed as ConRail_gp38. I will go back and try to fix this, and repost or e-mail the corrected activity file.Sorry, but I'm new to this,Derek Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-02-01, 03:29 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Holiday 142 NEC Activity." I am uploading holiday 142 again. This time, it's a *BIG* zip file (~7M) with all of the equipment you'll need and instructions for installing in the improved readme. Is this a good way for creating portable activities, or should we try to figure out other possibilities. I know that downloading a 7M file is very slow on a 28.8 modem.More discussion on creating shared activities would be good.Derek Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-05-01, 07:14 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Holiday 142 NEC Activity." I'll re-create the zip file with the Amtrak MHC car. You can download the file from here, at train-sim.com in the meantime. There is no way, barring a clean system, to create an actvity with downloaded equipment where you know exactly what is foreign to most systems, and what is not.Just for the record, everything I use has been downloaded from train-sim.com. I'll try to be careful about the zip files from here on out.Derek Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Made it to North Philly with about 15 seconds to spare, no uncomfortable passengers, only emergency was at Baltimore when stopped... (D*** alerter!)But checking on the passenger comfort thing... I'll post a different thread on it.Derek Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
