Jul-31-01, 10:22 PM (EST) "Car Directions in Activities?" I have an activity in the U.S. and the cars are running on the wrong side of the road (like in the U.K.). Is there a way to get them running on the correct sides for the U.S.? Thanks, Bob. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-01-01, 08:53 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Car Directions in Activities?" Given my limited experience in activity design (less than 24 hrs, to be exact), looks like you just have to switch the train to the desired side of the tracks at the first convenient location. My first activity attempt had a short local leaving Whitefish from one of the more northerly yard tracks, putting it on the lefthand/northern/westbound main. But there's a crossover just outside the yard, which allowed me to switch it to righthand running by using the "take other exit" (? is that the name?) option when designing the path.HTH,
Dave

Aug-01-01, 09:06 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Car Directions in Activities?" Hi. Thanks for the reply but I was referring to the vehicles on the roads not the trains. They are driving on the wrong side of the road like in the U.K. not the U.S. Regards, Bob. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-01-01, 10:39 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Car Directions in Activities?" Oops, sorry. Hmmm, I hadn't noticed that before; I would think that would be a product of the way the route was created. Which route is this happening in, and at what location, everywhere?I pulled up Marias Pass last night in the route editor, and remember seeing the roads will animated direction flow lines, so I would think that maybe tweaking the route may fix this...Dave
