I am in desperate need of some help with building activities. I am not working with switching at all right now, but instead trying to simulate a days worth of freight on the wonderful M&M Sub. The problem that I keep running into is that my trains seem to pick odd places to wait on each other. For instance, I was trying to make a hotshot intermodal train running south to Mobile. I inserted the first piesce of traffic, a northbound autorack train and was able to make the autoracks wait for 10 minutes for the hotshot. However, when I tried to insert a manifest also northbound, my hotshot decided to wait at the point that it had passed the autorack train instead of continuing on south for a more reasonable meet.If I'm just in over my head, let me know. But if there is a way to stop this from happening, I would appreciate the help. Thanks, Chris Hanes

RE: Giving AI trains a designated priority?
Chris, Nope theres no way to do this except mess around with the times to see what works best. Its a real shame. Hopefully the upcoming Train Master Train sim and/or the new Train Artisan Sim will have this option.Later -Dave, Secretary of the Scrap the SD60F federation!

Chris, google steam4me, find the tutorials and go through the one on double reverse points. Using these, you can give almost anything priority or make anything wait. Still a matter of timing, but these take much of the guess work out of itRobertR .. ADF-M&RM at http://www.adfrr.com
