Hi all,
I'm working on the 2nd of a 4 activity pack for the Wenatchee & Cashmere, but I've run into a major problem. I can get into the sawmill to switch cars, but I can't get out. There is an absolute signal guarding the exit out to the main. Even though there isn't any traffic in front of me at this point, the signal stays red. I even tried toggling the signal as failed. I was able to pass it in one test, but I added one piece of traffic (which shows up about 1 hour after this point in the activity), and now I can not pass the failed signal.
I have a reverse point set up on the main to get the train into the sawmill and one just inside the sawmill trackage to get the train back out, but the darn signal refuses to play along. How do I fix this? Thanks!Shawn Becher

RE: Stuck at the sawmill

I discovered my error. I had the reverse point too close to the signal. The train would trigger the reverse point while half of it was in front of the signal. By backing completely past the signal, I was off of the path, and therefore the signal was not "enabled". I have chosen to leave this signal as failed for this activity none the less to add a little variety in operations.Shawn Becher
