I have been running the Excellent set of Whitefish 4 Hawk activities by SkyRat. In the Bonners Local 1 activity one task calls for two sets of cars to be picked up on the Crown Pacific UP siding. Picking up the first set (32852-0,1) is no problem. However, I cannot couple to the second set of cars (32845-0 to 5). I have tried to couple using the first set of cars and when this failed I tried using the engines directly. The first car in this string is a boxcar which is used elsewhere in the activity where I have had no trouble coupling to it.Has anyone else seen this problem and does anyone have an idea of what the problem is?Bob

RE: Bonners Ferry Local 1

Not sure if this will work, but worth a try. Go to the AE, open that consist, and move that particular car back in the string of cars. This will not change the P/U numbers, but will change the look of the consist. Save, exit AE, open MSTS, and try again. If it's still happening, try changing to a different car in the editor. Good luck..let me know if that works.

RE: Bonners Ferry Local 1

I went back and played with this some more. I found that by simply moving the problem consist by as little as I could move it in the editor solved the problem. After moving it in the RE and coupling to it, I then tried moving it slightly with the engine, dropping it at as close to the original spot as possible and then re-coupling. In about 10 tries I never had another problem. I have also run into the same problem with a completely different consist in the W4H Sandpoint and WI activity. I will play around some more there as well, but would really like to know whether anyone else has seem this problem with these activities or is it just me.Bob
