Problem with Long Haul Part 1 – image 1

I have probelm with the long haul part activity for Cascade Crossing route. I'm on the main at Judkins with a frieght wait to come off the wye and a freight coming from Springfield. The freight arrives from springfield and just sits beyond the points for the crossing loop.Is there anyway to make the freight from Springfield move into the croosing loop?William

RE: Problem with Long Haul Part 1

Been a while since I ran this activity, IIRC I had to back up my train just slightly and the train immediately in front of you will take the turnout and you should then get a green.Ken

Thanks for your help Ken. I tried what you suggested but the train still refuses to move through the turnout into the loop.William

RE: Problem with Long Haul Part 1

Hello William,I found that by stopping at the point where the distance to the red signal went from 0.1 to 0.0 that the train approaching on my track did not stop. Then after it passed I had to nudge my train forward to get the green for my direction.I experimented a little and found that if I was too close to the signal that the approaching train would stop and nothing that I tried would get him rolling again.EL_AL

Hi EL_ALThanks for the idea of stopping distance to the red signal went from 0.1 to 0.0. It worked like a charm.William
