I am working on an activity for Raton Pass 2 and I am having a little trouble. I set up 2 events at the start of the activity but the events do not trigger even though the required action was completed. The activity starts at the York Canyon coal mine with a 75 car coal train. Your are instructed to break the train between cars 40 and 41 and insert 2 helper engines and then pick up the last half of the train. I have set up 2 action events, one to record that you have picked your helpers and the other to record that you have picked up the last 37 cars of the train. I start the activity and perform the required actions but when you exit the activity detail summary indicates that I did not pick up the helpers and I did not pick the last 37 cars of the train. Does anybody know why this is happening?

RE: Action Events Not Always Working
You did set the Action Events to the correct car numbers right? Also are you on a siding? Maybe you need to do 3. Drop off cars at location (drop off original cars at the siding you're on), Pick up cars (the two helpers), pick up cars (the rear half of your train). Also somthing that sucks about MSTS is that you have to drop off cars on a siding, you cant leave somthing on a main.Beyond this I'm stumped. What I would have done would have just said pick up the helpers and put them in the middle of the train in the breefing and just used one action event-Dave
HiAre the cars located within the siding markers at pickup and dropoff. These aren't always the full length of the siding. The Route Editor is needed to see them.GaryG
