Trying to create loose consists, and I get this message;"This consist does not have a player drivable engine. If you save it like this it will not appear on the list when editing the player's service. Save anyway?"There's 2 I created, and their not showing up in the consists drop-down box. Please help!-BeaverMon, AKA Ben-
Hmm...false alarm! This seems to be perfectly normal. I forgot, that only "engine controlled" consists will show up in the consist menu...but PLACING a consist, will make loose consists show up, and I was able to see the 2 loose consists I created. Thanks anyway.-BeaverMon, AKA Ben-
Hi,It is not efficient to create much consists just for loose consists. Loose consists are defined in the Activity file (that one with .act) The loose consists you created just sits in the Consists folder, doing nothing and only cluttering up space. To create a loose consist, you can better do this steps: - Point to a consist in the list, a consist of one car will do fine - Place and give OK - Now right click on the placed consist and choose properties. - And now create your real loose consist This way no extra consist file is created in the Consist folder.Dick van den Hoven
