I wonder if anyone knows a way to get the consist editor in the AE to display the rolling stock list in alphabetical order. My listing is all over the place with no apparant rhyme or reason. I have Conbuilder, but often find the AE consist editor more convenient, except for the apparantly random listing.Thanks.JohnR

John, unless I'm reading you incorrectly, just click on the bar above the name and it will be basically alphabetical. You can also do this with coupling so you can usually find a tender easier. May have to do it twice since it seems like it often does it in reverse order first. RobertR .. ADF-M&RM at http://www.adfrr.com

"--I really am that dumb"John, if that is truly the case, then you are in some very good company here. There has to be something wrong with all of us since we're working with MSTS and thoroughly enjoying it RobertR .. ADF-M&RM at http://www.adfrr.com

>John, ..., then you are in some very good company here.Robert, thanks for the kind response. And kidding aside, I have found with amazement and delight that I truly am in some very good company. There are a lot of valid criticisms for MSTS, but it's still a very impressive application. However, I think I would find it useless, and would have long since abandoned it, were it not for the ingenuity and generosity of the folks here on this website. I'm an old timer now, and have been around the block a few times, but have never experienced the kind of good will I have found here. Thanks very much, to you and to all the rest who give so much of their time and ability. JohnR
