Can anyone elighten me on how to get the activity to allow continuation beyond the last station stop? Usually the Sim end the activity after the load time reaches zero even though the path continues on to another stop point. Did it once but CRS!

RE: Last Station stop
You have to go into your AE and click Window then select 'Action Events window'. Then when the new window shows up, right click where it says:->Default EventThen click Delete. Next, richt click on the tracks where you want the activity to end and select 'Place Location Event'. When that window pops up, click OK if you want the activity to end while you are moving. If you want it to end when you stop in the area of that spot, select the box that says 'Train must stop'. Then select the distance in meters around that spot where you can stop and still complete the activity. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or EMail me.-Dave
In the St. Louis Tour activity I placed an "end activity successfully" event well beyond the last station stop but the activity still ended as soon as the stop completed. James, is this the activity you're having trouble with?JBD
Yes, I believe that I had a path error between Granite City and Lenox. After the correction and recreation of station stops I forgot about the defalut event. Also, After noticing that the inbound station stop was STL Washington ( not STL) and adjusting the timigs, I have corrected most of the issues at STL. Though th SIM does get flaky every now and then. THe station stop menue was showing 'St Loius', not 'STL Louis Washington' until I was past the stop.I was assuming the stop was the lower 'STL Wash' not the first. Oh the webs we weave! Everything is pretty mush the way it was designed now. Works well. The only problem is the 'B&O passenger'. I changed the consist to reflect more correctly the B&O consist and now must adjust the timing again. Activity is great fun!
Originally I had planned for the final leg of the trip to go back to Wann but I found that in doing so the AI trains all stacked up at Lenox (on top of each other! They didn't crash though.... sometime in the time-space continuum that allowed them to occupy the same space at the same time, I guess!).This is why the final stop is Mitchell (which really isn't a station, just a yard shack and shelter....). I found that by not attempting to go back up the GM&O/NYC joint line that the AI trains would go ahead and move on.... go figure....I placed the "end activity successfully" point well up into Mitchell Yard but the activity would still end itself as soon as the station stop timer hit 0:00....Well, keep plugging away at it and enjoy it as a learning experience, James!I'm busily working on serious scenery on the Air Line (Springfield to Murrayville) PLUS the big news is that I've raised the frame rates considerably in Springfield! Still a couple of days away from releasing this upgrade, though..... No new scenery items that aren't already included in the route (1.5 release) so it'll be a small download (<20 MB)..JBD
Instead of deleting that default event, try the following.Establish the location event as mentioned by NewEnglandRailFan in message #1 above, but reset its activation level to be zero (from the default 1). Its pick-list outcome ought to be set to 'end activity successfuly, if not already defaulted to do so. Note the number/name of the established location event. Then open up the default event and change its pick-list outcome from 'end activity successfully' to 'increase event by 1'. Then in the pick-list window below that one, select the location event you would have noted. This arrangement means that the last station must be stopped at before the activity can be completed successfully. If calling at the last station is not pivotal to ending the activity successfully, then you can reselect the outcome of the default event to be 'None', and ensure that the activation level to your established location event be set to a positive number.Save activity.Cheers, goonybird
