I have been trying to write a simple activity for the Lehigh Valley where a westbound LV TOFC meets a couple of eastbound LV freights. The westbound path (Florence - Jim Thorpe) works fine, but when I try to create an opposing path, it shows a partial train at the end of the path and no opposing trains moving. When I use the same westbound path by itself, it works fine. Opposing trains on the CNJ line work just fine. Any thoughts?

RE: Path Problems on the Lehigh Valley

I have been using this route for some time and I have had no problems such as you describe. Have you verified that the eastbound traffic path is not broken. Have you tried using the eastbound path in the player service. A broken path would give you an unexpected red signal at some point - if it worked at all. If you haven't done so delete the path and reenter it fresh.Be Seeing you.

RE: Path Problems on the Lehigh Valley

This is a great route.......making activities on ANY route can be a pain. I have hadsome issues with certain things.....signals, and switches around the Allentown area/Reading yard/ Catasauqua yard too.....but worked them out with some help from people in the forum. Most problems are worked out after countless hours of playing with paths and following train distances and reverse points. CG
