While browsing through the library the other day, I noticed that the PO&N is listed as having "free-form activities" included. Until now, I really haven't paid much attention, but now I'm interested in a similar concept for my upcoming Indiana Northern Railroad (don't get anxious guys, it's a HUGE project). Can someone please explain the free-form concept in more detail and show me how to set one up?Bruce Bridges
First you need a route with manual switches. Then you setup an activity where the player path is just a short distance to introduce the player consist into the game. I believe that there is normally a deffault event created that ends the activity at the end of the player path. You will have to delete this default event so you can continue driving the route. Other things that you normally add can still be put into the activity like loose consists and AI traffic. As to AI traffic on PO&N, Sniper has designed a parallel route just for the AI. This parallel route is gated by auto switches to keep the player off it and thus allow the AI to travel freely on it's own route but it will travel the single track sections that the player uses, providing some interaction with the AI. Get PO&N and open his activities in the editor and see for yourself and then drive them.Wild Willy the Wacko
