I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I thought I'd share with you a tip I came across earlier today.Per everything that I spieled out in this posting of mine, http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID7/2120.html, I started up another activity I created and got that TS message that says something to the effect that the 'activity is prohibited from starting out with objects colliding'.Well, upon being shamed by my TS, I manually opened up the traffic file and sorted the services that I'd most recently wrote into the overall activity into the chronological order, saved it, and then restarted my activity in TS. The message was gone, and I was able to drive away.Cheers, goonybird
You're welcome. There is, however, one crucial step that I can't remember if I indicated in the initial, linked-to thread of mine. The activity file must also be updated if anything has been touched in the traffic file. Thankfully, the way to do it is simple.Manually open the activity file and replace its noted 'trafficactivitydescription' (eek, I'm once again nowhere near my AE, RE, or TS, hence I cannot fully quote the activity-file parameter here) with a bogus traffic file (my bogus traffic file is empty). This goes to say that if your traffic file is massive, you'd have many, many lines to manually replace in your corresponding activity file. After manually saving the activity file, open up the activity in AE, and simply reselect the traffic file that you'd have sorted into chrono order manually. Luckily, if your traffic services call at station(s), there's no need to recalculate any traffic service timings, because they'll have been maintained all along.Cheers, goonybird
Another thing: if you were to have computed and saved as opposed to saving your activity, then I recommend deleting the corresponding ".asv" file before reselecting the corresponding traffic pattern back in the AE.Cheers, goonybird
