Commuter service activity for the Riviera Express – image 1

HiHere are some screens from this activity.http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?t=29459Be aware I encounterd some problems :First at all, when packaging the activity, I couldn't make apk files. In spite of several tries, the files were always corrupted. Then, I was obliged to put directly in the zip all the files (consists, paths ...) necessaries to the activity with their pathes to the TS directory. As there is a lot of traffic, I wished to see the passing engines with their lights on, and I modified the original eng files (under an other name) and joined the new ones in the package. But, concerning these lights, I noticed that, whereas the tests were right, sometimes, but not always, some AI engines run with light off (???!!!)Emmanuel

RE: Commuter service activity for the Riviera Express

Hi Emmanuel,If you want to make use of the ae activity packager you will have to rename the route's folder to A RIVIERA (which is the route id in the .trk file) while packaging the activity. The packager will then work correctly. (To package correctly it requires that the folder name be exactly the same as the route id)The user can unpackage the activity without makeing any changes.Regards,Eric

Hello,as I wrote somewhere I spent 2 days ago a lot of time to find again the links to the stocks. I am afraid I did not check one of these links. It concerns theFS_MedieDistanze_pack_XMPRThe link in my read me file is not the right one, but refered to another FS_MedieDistanze_pack_You can download the required stock from

Further to some comments and questions I received these two last days, a version 2 of this activity has been uploaded and will be soon available from the libraryWhy a new version ? Besides some stocks problems, I couldn’t package the route in an APK.file, as I explained last saturday in my "read-me" file. Eric in his reply above gave us a more accurate explanation. In this version 1, I had to install all the files individually in the zip package and, in the end, I mixed up 2 pathes, which would have been impossible if the APK file had functionedI noticed that the same misadventure (corrupted APK files) occurred to 2 activity designers on the Trenomania site. They uploaded their activities without realizing that their files were unusable. It’s actually not possible to unpackage the activities.I sent today my activity for testing to two friends. The first answered me that all was OK and I decided to upload. The second has just called me he couldn’t run the activity. I would have to remember that my other friend had a lot of foreign stock ! After a new check-up it appears I use for the player service the EMU Ale 426 TAF which is in a folder named « FS_ALe426-506-Taf » (notice the spelling)Unfortunately for me, the author realized 2 versions, all of them available from Trenomania and all of them called « new version »I quoted too quickly the following link in my version 2 http://www.trenomania.it/trainsimulator/file/filetrenicompleti/downloadtrenicompleti.asp?ID=498
which is to be unzipped in the « Fs-ALe426-506-Taf » (Notice the tiny difference between the 2 folders names !) instead of this one, the only one required :

(only italian version)Emmanuel
