This will bring up a window in which you can add trains. You can use the trip patterns used by trains in other scenarios, and simply adjust the starting time to that desired by yourself. I just started fooling with the activity editor yesterday, and have found more than my share of frustration with it too, but I hope that all of our minds on this board can make it into an easy to comprehend add-on. Experiment on a small scale - make a trip from Philly to Wilmington, and try to add two trains passing the opposite direction spaced 30 minutes apart. Just try to make sure that they do not use any of the same path that your train will. This will give you a basic sense of adding AI service - you can always edit the service pattern, and add additional trains as you feel comfortable.
