Jul-25-01, 01:31 PM (EST) "Tell me about Couplings" I've noticed with a download that some consist won't couple with some trains even though they are designed for the same route. Is there something in the editor that Activity designers must watch for?

Jul-26-01, 11:11 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Tell me about Couplings" u have to look at the couoler type. in train sim there are 3 types. a chain which connects 2 cars together. These where used by steam engineg. The type used by the dash 9 and gp38. these are lik mechanikal claws grabbing each other and the one's used by the acela and the eurostar. these are fixed togheter and cannot be uncoupled on the run. these three types cannot be interchanged. u have to use the sort couplers that the enginge has.
