Jul-24-01, 05:26 PM (EST) "Error when Saving an Activity" I have consistently received an error stating something like, "Not all necessary information has been entered, activity may not work," something like that (I'm not at the computer I use for MSTS, so I am winging it).I have looked many places to find out what may be amiss, but I haven't had any good luck.Suggestions?Lawrence Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

When you set the activity up, there are two places ( Edit Activity description )and (Edit Activity breif) that have to be filled in with any thing you can dream up. See if that will get you going, it helped me move along to some new problem, but eventually it worked. Let me know if it helped. Jul-24-01, 05:52 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Error when Saving an Activity" Lawrence Are you defining a new route or using an existing route. If a new route, try editing it to an existing route to see if the problem is in the creation of the route.

I was getting the same problem and I just found a site telling me the answer,
Whilst in the activity editor you must edit the activity description and also edit the activity brief , even if all you put in them is the word test

I did read in here to not have the starting or ending point at a switch. I was doing that, too. So the program was crashing.Anyway, I set up an activity this evening so I could Explore the route. I paid particular attention to include all the suggestions that were mentioned above. Activity saved with no problem.I was able to explore the route and was quite pleased.
