I am unable to get a location event to show up and the main graphic screen. I know they are there because they activate when I drive over that section of track in the activity. I must have turned something off but I can't seem to find where to turn it back on. I have tried all the item on the view menu. Could anyone help.ThanksGeorge Bohlig
Try mstsscrz.zip in the file library. This utility will reset the activity editor registry entries. You probably to see the player of traffic trains either.Regards,Eric
I tried the file mstsscrz.zip without success. Six months ago when I first was trying to use the editor location events did show. Lately I have been using the editor a lot. Had several crashes. Everything else seems to work including simulation of activity and player trains. The problem is the location events do not show up on the path in the main graphics window of the activity editor. Could I have inadvertanly turned location events off somewhere. Thanks for the help. Any other ideas?
Yes. All the event windows open and the events are listed and I can look at their properties. What I am talking about is location events showing up on the path. At one time I would get a small circle surounded by a larger circle showing the radius of the location event. You could move the event by draging on the small circle. This graphic does not show up for me now. It makes it impossible to adjust the location of the event.
Can you see the loose consists, ai, and player trains?Sometimes the registry coding gets corrupted. If you follow the instructions in Kevin's post below the ae should correct it. Mstsscrz was designed to do this automatically but apparently does not do it on some systems.Regards,Eric
Success. Mstsscrz does work. Dumb me just did not look at the menu options carefully. AE fix was right there at the top. I must of run one of the other options.Anyway, thanks for your help
