Hi, as mentioned in the other forum, just a couple of problems I have with my activity.(1) I have problems with the timetable calculation. AE seems to take endless time for calculation it up a certain station and then, when I abort, it spits out negative hours (actually quite random values).(2) I can't seem to get my engine start at 50mph? I set it up in AE, save it and when I start the act, it still starts at 0mph.(3) Are there any problems running the head-end-engine backwards? I want to run on an AI service a tank-engine facing backwards. Thanks for your help!Cheers!SebastianFeel free to IM me on: sstyrnol@hotmail.com My email is: sebastian.styrnol@gmx.de

1. The ae can't figure out the path beyond the point where the times go crazy. Try changing the position of reverse points etc.2. Use the up and down arrows to set the start speed.3. You should be able to run an ai engine in reverse.Regards,Eric
1) I've found that this happens when: a) you've a reversal point just ahead of the called-at station; b) sometimes the start point is just behind the rear end to a platform stretch/marker -- I often have the AI skip this adjacent first called-at station because of the impossibility that often happens2) I always create or edit all trains in the 'traffic editor', I neither create nor edit a train in the 'Player service editor' -- I've found that the Player's start speed can be easily adjusted that way, without having to solely use the up and down speed arrows to modify its speed3) My recollection tells me that the only problem I encountered was when coupling or uncoupling.Cheers, goonybird http://www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/Bayou/4804/ a fictitious network serving London, Weymouth, and points in between
Well, dunno, but I guess it also coincides with passing paths... Anyway, haven't done much work on it due to my thesis. hope to get it done soon... Cheers!SebastianFeel free to IM me on: sstyrnol@hotmail.com My email is: sebastian.styrnol@gmx.de
