Now here is a real puzzler. I have just created an activity that I thought was pretty much done and then something strange happened. I went back to run the RDC out of Canton ond on down to Interchange. The Activity Editor shows a path that takes the first switch to the left out of Canton Station. This is as it should be. When you actually run the activity the switch monitor shows the switch set straight ahead. Anybody got any suggestions? Rick, President/CEO Blue Ridge & Allegheny RR

I have been working on an activity and found that when an AI train is "launched", if its path crosses the player path it is resetting the switches for the AI train rather then the player train. Could this be happening to you?Brad Meyer

I don't think so Brad. This is the very first player move after the activity starts. There are not any AI's activated at this time. If you open Activity Editor the path branches to the left as it should. When you run the activity the train goes straight and the switch monitor shows the switch as aligned for the straight rather than the left branch. It is a passenger run and here is what I think happened. Late the other evening I made a couple of schedule changes. Afterwards I did not "Verify Start Time" nor did I recalculate. This appears to be what has caused the problem.I completely redid the path and everything worked correctly. Then I made a schedule change without verify/recalculate and the error occurred again.I would imagine that this would only be a problem on passenger activities which are scheduled. I know some people that only do freight activities and never verify or recalculate and I can see why it might not be necessary since they do not adhere to a schedule.Rick, President/CEO Blue Ridge & Allegheny RR
