Hi . I have placed a location event and I have a choice of having a number of different out comes , What I don't understand is how do I make the second one happen . I arrive at the place where I have it and number one happens , What do I have to do to make number two happen ?Southern Pacific will live on forever in the hearts of the Red and Gray Railfans Shane Palus smp1151@sbcglobal.net
Multiple outcomes are not branching functions. When you trigger the location event all of the outcomes (up to 4) are triggered at the same time (no branching logic here). For example if you had "train reaches speed" action events to penalize the operator for violating speed limits you would have one of these for each of the speed limits and all but the one for the active speedlimit would need to be set at activation level "0" and the active one would be set to activation level "1". A location event placed at a speed limit change from 25MPH to 45MPH would have two outcomes: 1. Change the activation level for the 25MPH action event from 1 to 0. 2. Chnage the activation level for the 45MPH action event from 0 to 1.In addition you could have a third outcome which puts up a message from the dispatch. To make the second outcome happen set the number of outcomes to to in the number of outcomes pick list and define the secound outcome after selecting its tab.Be Seeing you.
