Hi,
I'm making a 4 part auto train activity for the ADFRR. The first part the player makes pickups along the way to the auto plant. In the second part the player assembles a train of auto racks and empty boxes and has to shove them down the line to make room for the first train to be broken apart. The problem I'm having is: When I shove the train it goes right past the end point I have set in the path. If I "tab" I can run on forever passing reds. Does the sim ignore end points if your going in reverse? I could just make a pop up message telling the player to end the activity, but that sounds kind of lame to me. Any ideas?

RE: Newly discovered path end point difficulty

I have moved it twice. I think the sim does not recognize the end point when your shoving and the rear end of the train crosses the end point first??

RE: Newly discovered path end point difficulty

Crossing the end of a path won't end an activity. A player consist can leave a path and return to it during an activity. The path sets up the switchs along the path. The end of the activity is controlled by the activity designer using time, location, and action events. One of the outcomes of an event is the successful complation of the activity. RegardsEric
