Jul-18-01, 09:31 PM (EST) "Manual Switching: Explore vs. Activities ??" I've been following the posts involving the problems with "Manual" vs "AI" controlled switches and haven't heard an answer to what should be an obvious question. Why do ALL the switches work when "Exploring" a route, but only "Manual" switches work when running an activity? Is there a property, variable, attribute, (magic word ...) that "unlocks" all of the "AI" switches during Explore? Or, is there a "hidden" duplicate of each route with all "Manual" switches? So far, the only solutions I've read about include:1) Editing the Route and trying to replace the "AI" Switches with Manual Switches (a solution which appears to run the risk of breaking your Route); or,2) Getting very creative with the Path Editor using "Reverse" Points (which is the safest way, but only allows you to run through the switching one time).Finding the "Abbra-Ka-Dabra" that allows full switching during "Explore" would certainly solve the switching problems a lot easier (and safer) than editing the Route or setting up complex paths. Many thanks (from many of us) to whomever can answer this one ...Dave Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
