My first use of AE will be to change various whtfsh2 Activity AI train start times to correct locked red signal problems. Any cautions, suggestions to protect me from myself or to cut my learning curve?

I found this web site http://www.railpage.org.au/steam4me/trainsim/tutorials/index.html to have a lot of information about modifying train simulator files. I am new to doing activities myself, so there are others that have more information. From what I read the signaling control is set up in the route. I know modifying AI start times and path start points seem to clear up some of the stand off issues.http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID7/1734.html was posted by kevarc. If you have $, this looks like a very good investment http://trainsimulatorworld.com/catalog/b480.htmHopefully this will give you some information to get started.

Thanks for the links. Was beginning to think the lack of reponse meant even I could do no damage. This is my 1st sim try and the scope and size of the MSTS file tree leaves a lot of potential for my kinda duh mistakes.
