RE: Activity Editor Help

I tried what you suggested, but I still seem to be missing something. When I push 'Leave Path Editor' and I push 'YES' to save it gives me an error saying 'Failed to SAVE path'. I hate if Im kind of a pest but I'd relly like to get a route going. Thanks

RE: Activity Editor Help

What route? Is it one you are working on or that you downloaded? Are you putting an endpoint to the path? One thing to check is that you do not have the startpoint or endpoint at the beginning or end of the route. This can cause problems. usually the only reason that it will not save the path is because it is a "broken path". Try doing a very short one to see what happens.Kevin Arceneaux

RE: Activity Editor Help

Ok, It still didnt work on my route. I tried to do the samething on one of my defalt routes and it worked. I looked at my track in route editor and all of it is in tact no blue seperation line or anything. Does you route have to be so long or does it have to have (I guess there call bumpers) on the dead ends?

RE: Activity Editor Help

For explore route, it only needs to be a couple of feet. All you are looking for is a start point. You could do that for each place you want to have a startpoint for.Kevin Arceneaux

RE: Activity Editor Help

Well, still no luck, I zoomed in to my route as far in as possable and created the start and end as close at possable, but the stupid thing is still giving that error. Could I have possibly done something wrong while building my route?

RE: Activity Editor Help

If you are creating activities for a route and they don't save check the route folder for the route and make sure you have the following sub folders to save the activtiy in: ACTIVITIES; PATHS; SERVICES; TRAFFIC. If they are not there create them.RegardsEric

Yep, didn't think about that, but since this is a route he is creating, that makes sense that they may not be there.Kevin Arceneaux
