Jul-18-01, 03:05 PM (EST) 1. "RE: how to make switches work?" LAST EDITED ON Jul-18-01 AT 03:06 PM (EST)I finally succeeded in creating an activity with properly functioning switches, like this:1. I made a complete path. I made reversing points where needed etc, a detailed path.
2. Every drop off action event includes an outcome that activates the next event.AI dispatcher does now all the switching properly. Switches move, signals change, it all works just like I planned. Reading activity editor Help and Scott Stevensons tsact_tutorial1.zip (avsim.com) helped a lot. Patience, patience ... Aki Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Hi Aki,Are you talking about the path for the AI trains and having them changing tracks through different switches, or,are you talking about using the G key and the Shift-G keys making the switches working so you can reach the sidings along some easy route???From your answer and by reading the tutorial it seems to me that you are talking about this!Getting those switches to work for you along Maria Pass isn´t too difficult, but, let´s say, the NE Corridor certainly needs other operations to make those switches work!Haraldh F.
