I cannot replace the HHP8 for the AEM7 and make this activity look realistic. That is because it takes place in the fall of 1993 before the HHP8 was even proposed. The train is a Metroliner, but not just any ordinary Metroliner. Some of you may remember that in 1993, Amtrak tested an ICE1 trainset, and that fall it entered Metroliner service. Well, this is it, folks. It will require the AEM7 when released (I can wait), the new amfleets if they have been released (in phase III), and the ICE1 from www.the-train.de . You can count on having to download NALW's F40 as well. If the new E60s have been released, then they will be around too. I might put in some heritage fleet cars if there are any available. Also, any Washington Metro equiptment that may be released between now and then WILL be included. Any SEPTA, MARC, or NJT Atlantic City equiptment released by then will be included in the activity. IMPORTANT: There is NO set release date. When it is done and tested, I will upload it EVEN if it is after the release of MSTS2. The train will stop at either New Carrollton or BWI, but probably not both. It will also stop at Baltimore, Wilmington, and Philadelphia. Traffic will include southbound Amtrak trains, Conrail trains, CSX trains, SEPTA trains, MARC trains, and Metro trains running in both directions. I might add the light rail line, but there are no guarentees at this point.
