Help Fixing the Penn Central Commuter Run – image 1

This post concerns pcrun.zip, the Penn Central Commuter Run by Joe Molesky. I've got most of the stuff that the activity asks for---I intend to get into Conbuilder and change some things---but there's a wrinkle:I've rebuilt the two required consists with the stuff I intend to use, but pccommuterrun.act still wants to use ancient rolling stock and locomotives, and thus crashes the activity editor.I've gone into the ACT in Wordpad, and see what are obvious calls to the old equipment, but I'm not sure how what to change them to. The relevant lines are things like:WagonData ( nycuscar3 NYCPass ) EngineData ( F7APC f7apc ) EngineData ( GG1 GG1 )I've got the required Penn Central F7A #1862---and it's a junker, all right---and I've got the Penn Central GG-1, but neither of them are in the directories that this old activity wants. I've replaced the Harold Clitheroe NYC passenger cars with the units from the most excellent ne_pass1.zip collection of PRR/NYC/PC steel coaches, and may be on my way to rebuilding the entire activity with modern equipment. I can't, however, make the jump into getting this right without some help. Thanks in advance!

RE: Help Fixing the Penn Central Commuter Run

I would get a little program named Activty Analysis. It will edit the activity files for you. All you have to do is select the rolling equipment you want to use.http://www.eto-software.de/RegardsEric
