"RE: placing a consist" Is it not visible in the Activity editor or in the SIM when you run it?If it's the first, many of us had problems in the Activity Editor seeing consists and AI trains. Also we could NOT see the PLAY test movements.I solved my problem by re-loading the whole SIM into the same directory as the original. Since the reload, I can see, move and delete the static consists. The PLAY feature works too. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: placing a consist" Beware that you have left the path editor! And: placing a consist doesn´t mean your own train but cars etc for picking up on varioue sidings!!!First you right-click on the spot on the track where you want to place your consist. The point to the "place conist" and the menu will pop up. Selecting an existing one or selecting a new one should give you a symbol (a rectangle for each car etc) on that spot!

Jul-20-01, 06:27 PM (EST) 3. "RE: placing a consist" In my situation the activity editor or I should say parts of the editor clearly do not work. Reinstalling the program does not work.Areas in the dialog boxs are grayed out so the next step can not be taken. Anyone else have these problems and any fixes. For future reference, anyone having trouble with not being able to see consists or paths in the activity editor, please post your specs, particularly your video card. I bet you all have the same type. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jul-21-01, 04:51 AM (EST) 5. "RE: placing a consist" I had the same problem but eventually solved everything. It took me several re-instals. Delete all files. When clear again make certain that when adding consists you complete in the correct order because if anything is incomplete the errors stack up and cause the problems you describe.
