I can't find anything in the current threads doing a search, but wondered if anyone has run into this one before.Error when loading an activity "UPbulkflat placement at startpoint of path "EB Daylight Player" failed."I have created my first activity using the Tehachapi Pass DE involving an Eastbound San Joaquin Daylight from Bakersfield. Player train is passenger train. Several WB trains including ATSF and SP passenger and freights. I ran the activity a couple of times and it ran well. Then I downloaded some new freight cars to make the activity a bit more period specific. Using some of the cars, I changed most of the freight trains, and added some static cuts of cars to the route. The starting point of the player path is at the West end of the SP yard on the main, so when the activity loads, cuts of cars are in view. Now, when loading the activity I get the above message four times - twice each for two pieces of equipment. I tried deleting the guilty cars from the cuts and consists in the activity. I changed the "loose" consists of cuts in the opening scene, removed the cuts from the activity then put them back in using the changed consists. Finally, I deleted all visible cuts of cars so now the opening scene has no equipment except for the player train, and I still get the error.I can OK through the error, and the activity still loads, but the frame rate is terrible. (it was quite acceptable and playable before)Whew, any ideas, short of deleting the whole activity and starting over again?

RE: car file placement at startpoint of player path fai

Have you tried redrawing the path, or simply going into editing the path and resaving it?RegardsEric

I would have deleted it and started over. If there are that many problems and it keeps booting you, there is probably a flaw in it that will be next to impossible to fix. But I would first check the wag, sd, and ace files for that car to see if there is an error in it. Kevin Arceneaux
