Recently I have gotten the following error message when trying to open an activity:- "Expected more files. Activity damaged" The most recent case was with the Amtrak Activity Pack, but it has also happened with others. Is anyone else having this problem, and does anyone have an idea what the remedy might be? Thanks in advance. Cheers; Chuck.P.S. I'm using Windows XP.
That is an activity that is missing files. It is incomplete and will not work. The only remedy is for the designer to pack the activity using Route Riter and the unpacker will not work on that route.Kevin Arceneaux DEFAULT IS FOR DUMMIES Lone Wolf Activities Forum on www.3DTrains.com
Thanks, Kevin, for the reply. I would have thought others would have complained about the problem by now, that is why I thought it might be something wrong with my system. Bye, Chuck.
A general note, this happens if the route folder has been renamed, so that it no longer matches the routeID from the TRK file. Some routes are distributed with the wrong name, other times the person installing decides to rename it! Packing with route riter would help in the former case, not in the latter!Alan
