I just did a couple of quick activities for the NEC version 4. One's a southbound PRR express with a quick schedule - takes a couple of hours, and the other is a northbound Newark-to-Philly early morning local, about an hour-and-a-half. They're not very detailed, and they require the NALW GG1, MP-54, and some assorted passenger cars.biggg1fan (Derek)
I quit using the activity packer in the AE to prepare an activity. I use Route riter for that. RR will check the activity for errors, which is great if you change things outside the AE. It doesn't care that the route name does not match the folder name or any of that garbage. It also will produce a dl list, all you have to do is add the zip file name.Kevin Arceneaux DEFAULT IS FOR DUMMIES Lone Wolf Activities Forum on www.3DTrains.com
It doesn't look like Derek used the activity packer for the Senator. There's only an *.act file in the library. I assumed this meant the activity used the same traffic, paths and services as his other NEC activity but this does not appear to be the case.
I goofed. I've re-uploaded the zip file, so it should be available this weekend. I have another activity pending - kind of like holiday 142, but many years earlier. I'm not sure how much translation of previous activities I'm going to do with the change that's a-comin'.Sorry for the frustration... Derek
