Currently working on an activity that involves bringing some cars into a yard and adding them to an AI train, which should depart 5-10 minutes later. The AI train has to be standing in the yard before the player train arrives, then leave, according to the set traffic time. Will this work, and are there any issues that I should be aware of? Thanks in advance.
Yes....1) The sim will likely freez up when you couple to the AI train.2) The AI won't take the cars with it.3) It will be extremely difficult to control what the AI does in terms of speed and and waiting on your to finish.
Rats! Back to the original concept, which was couple to a loose consist then move the player loco off so the act can end. Would have been a neat trick tho'. Thanks.
