I have a couple of activites that I would like to put into a zip file. When unzipped, I would like the setup to place each of the activity's files into their respective folders (path, traffic, etc.) in MSTS on the hard drive. Can someone direct me to a procedure on how to do this?Thank you,Steve

RE: Activities in a zip file

In winzip I think there is an option to save folder information. If you have the activity files set up in the folders you want them to be in winzip will save this structure info when it zip up the files.RegardsEric

RE: Activities in a zip file

The latest edition of Route Riter 3.8.59 has this feature built in, as well as generating a list of stock used.

But a major (minor) problem for me has long been the “readme.txt” which is included in a zipped file. Sometimes you unzip to a temp directory. Then you access the “readme.txt” then you see you should have unzipped to the default msts directory. Etc. One of the most exciting examples? "If you are reading this you have already installed ..." etc.Respectfully ... NOT!! (That is ... not necessarily ... and I guess I should be saving the zipped file ... )but I like to unzip everything for compressing zips for backups is not as clear an operation to me as compressing an unzipped file for back up.ANDI should be working!! When I say “Respectfully,” I mean “VERY Respectfully”jivajiva
