I surely wish in the next version of MSTS they showed grade crossings in the activity editor. That would be helpful in consist placements on some sidings.
That would be nice too, it can get cluttered up every once in a while. While I got you here. I have TA's SD70M's aliased to the SD70 sounds from 3d trains. How could I get another horn sound instead of going to the 3d trains SD70M and changing the horn. Because when I do that, all of the horns will be like that one. I see some that has the two .sms files and the two horn files in the sound folder, and the horn will play. How'd they do that?
Yes. Copy the sound wavs into the sd70sounds folder, making sure it has a unique name. Then open the sms files and change the horn wave to your new horn. If you are going to use the horn for all your engines just save it. If you want it for only a few engines, give it a name, i.e. sd70KL4cab.sms and sd70KL4eng.sms. Do not forget to add the .sms extension or it will save it as a text file.Kevin Arceneaux DEFAULT IS FOR DUMMIES
