When you are in the process of re-evaluating or editing an activity, can you start from any point within the act? Or do you have to run through the act to get to the point desired.? I'm just imagining that it could get rather tedious after awhile. Especially if the act is two hours long and you are anxious to check the act 15 minutes from the end. Any thoughts?

RE: Question for activity designers

I make different player test paths and change to start time to when the computer indicates my train is going to be at that start point. It is not exact but it seems to work.

RE: Question for activity designers

ONe thing that I have started doing were I am going to be doing switching is creating mini activities to see what I can do in that area. That way I do not have to run the whole activity to get to that point. I am working on one for the new NEC, a coal delivery to power plant. Rather than having to start back at the yard by DC every time I change sonething in the activity, I made a mini one at the end where you are dropping off the cars before heading back to anthor yard as a caboose hop.Kevin Arceneaux
