When playing the default Bakersfield to East Mojave activity included with 3DTrainStuff's Tehachapi Pass Developer's edition, I always get stuck at a red lite when I am supposed to leave Mojave SP yard into the BNSF line towards Needles. Has anyone else encountered this, and possibly developed a fix?
I haven't encountered this problem with this particular activity, but I have seen it in my own "home-grown" activities...if it's the same problem, then it's a path conflict. The BNSF eastbound out of Mojave is a single main, so if there's a path for opposing AI traffic coming out of there, you won't be allowed to go in...it's probably more complicated than that, but what I've generally done is alter the path of the oncoming train to eliminate the conflict. In this case, that may be as simple as moving the start point for the AI into the Mojave yard. If the activity calls for you to sit and wait for the BNSF main to clear before you can proceed, then it may not work. Kurt
>Yes, that is probably the exact problem. Is there any way of >changing the signal scripts to make this work? TF, the problem is not the signals, its a problem with the AI traffic in that activity, we will look into it and see if we can either end the activity there at south Mojave or delete that AI traffic that is holding the signal. Then we will post an update on the Tehachapi DE page, ok Keep'em on the high iron!Best regards, Brad Brownwww.3DTrainStuff.com
