What would be realistic rolling stock to run on the Conrail Indianapolis route to illustrate the late-era (post 1995) Conrail?
I am guessing mainly SD40-2s, SD60Ms and C40-8Ws? I suppose the SD80MACs didn't travel as far north?

RE: Conrail Indianapolis route - realistic rolling stoc

Anything could be seen on the Indy Line. UP/BN/SF/SP and some rentawrecks. Yes, the MAC's made it on the line. They were common on the Marion Branch (Indy-Elkhart) trains. It seemed though that SD60M/I's and D-8's dominated the line, and normally led, leaving the SD40's and other units to trail. But like I said, you could see about anything.
